Christian Grimstein is a Senior Translational Regulatory Affairs Director at AstraZeneca. He is responsible for developing translational regulatory strategies to maximize the successful utilization of innovative science and technology such as using biomarkers to improve the success of clinical trials, and to bring innovative medicines to patients faster and more efficiently. Before joining AstraZeneca, he worked for more than 10 years at the FDA, most recently as a Team Lead for Translational and Precision Medicine in the Office of Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Grimstein holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics from University of Florida and a Pharmacy Degree from Saarland University/Germany.
