Alex Sverdlov has worked as a statistical scientist in the biopharmaceutical industry since 2007. He is currently neuroscience disease area lead statistician in early clinical development at Novartis. Alex has been involved in active research on adaptive designs for clinical trials to improve efficiency of drug development. He is the editor of a monograph “Modern Adaptive Randomized Clinical Trials: Statistical and Practical Aspects” (2015, CRC Press) and a co-author of a book “Mathematical and Statistical Skills in the Biopharmaceutical Industry: A Pragmatic Approach” (2019, CRC Press).
