The growing acceptance of RWE in product development has changed when and where RWE can lend rigor to the process. We see new uses of RWE to support trial design, provide context for interventional studies, and create pragmatic approaches to long term monitoring of cell and gene therapies—but this trend is quickly moving from fringe to mainstream.
